New Story

Yo, Bloggers...

So, you know how I had all those stories goin' on? Miriam's Isle, Clarabelle, Remedy, and Violet Star? Well, the other day I had a brainstorm for another story. It's about twins, a boy and girl, Maggie and Perry (I have to name my characters as soon as they pop into my head. But once you name something, you start getting attached to it. So I wrote a few paragraphs about them. One was exploring Egyptian tombs, the other was riding in a motorboat (similar to mine...hee hee). So, folks, whaddya think? Should I free Maggie and Perry from my head? Or should I store them away with Enzo, Miria, Katherine, and Zenabelle? The fate of the twins rests in YOUR hands! (But I will eventually write about Maggie and Perry. Someday.)

Whenever I get an idea, even if it's just one single word that a find from which could grow into an amazing story, I write it down in a few simple words so I know I'll remember it and then put it away.

All stories you come up with should be focused on eventually, but you'll never get anything done if you're shifting through story after story.

I have a neverending list of stories I want to write and for a while I was trapped between Autumn Rider,The Evercast Book, and Bloodstone. Then I finally decided "Pick one. Only one, and work insanely on it." Now Autumn Rider is finished! So, if I were you, I'd pick only one story and save the rest for later.

In other wordS: No Maggie and Perry...YET.

But just so you know, I do love that story idea. ^_^

Well, it needs a baseline, first. Then maybe I could give you ideas. Plus, what's genre.

yeah, jehsyka, that is good. I was actually in the same dillema: you may have seen my list? I was torn between Miriam's Isle and Clarabelle, two stories I really loved. I took a survey with my bffs, and they chose Miriam's Isle, but finally I chose Clarabelle cuz I was just more interested in vampires than mermaids. But thanx for the advice!
