Busy Bee

Huzzah! It's the weekend! This week seemed so freakin' long. Last year, my Fridays were relaxing at least: come home, race my bro to the PS2 (We can only play on weekends. Urgh!)

Read, watch TV, etc. But THIS year I have three dances on Friday! My schedule goes like this:

MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY

Ballet Ballet Exam Nuthin'! Papers Tap

Jazz

Tap Exam

Yeah. Notice how everything sorta piles up on Friday?! I mean, sheez. Friday used to be a relaxin' day. Now it's the busiest day of the week! At least I don't take skating this year. Last year, on Monday, I would go to the rink right after school and teach Learn-To-Skate for an hour (three forty-five to four forty-five) and then figure skate until six-fifteen. My mom teaches all the skating in town. But this year, at school, instead of Kindergarten twice a week, it's every day. So she doesn't have time anymore, and no one else in town would do it. Jerks.

But last year, oh man, Thursdays?!??!!!? Killer! I would DREAD them! If I had a test on Friday, it was like, oops, guess I'm flunkin that test!

(Okay, that's an exaggeration. I get good marks and have never flunked a test. Worst mark: 62%. On math. Oops.)

Last year, Thursdays were: School, learn-to-skate, figure-skating, rush home, eat supper, deliver papers, go to Jazz. Argh. Do ya blame me for dreading it?!?!?!?!?

Yes, Landon and I have a paper route. We split it-- I do 6th and half of 7th street, Landon does 8thand half of 7th street. We get paid a fair wad, too. Not bad. Recently I bought this sweet sound system for my room--it plays CDs, Radio, and ipod.

My other money-makin' biz is baby-sitting. I actually like it. I haven't got any jobs for a while, though: I have a lot of stuff up. Plus, all my units in school are nearing the end; I have tests.

Not that I study a lot for them though. I studied once for my ELA and got ninety-five.

So, I think I'll change out of my pajamas and go watch the Senior Girls Volleyball Tournament at the high school. Oh, crud, on my schedule I missed out on volleyball. I have games on Tuesday and practices on Thursday. I gotta check the weather, first. I always check the online weather forecast before I get dressed. Is that weird???????

Sincerely,

the busy, busy, busy, busy bee.

New Look!

Look at my new look!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Ain't it just lovely? I spent a heck of a long time fiddlin around, so everyone better feel like getting on their knees to thank me for this gorgeous blog.
I don't see anyone on their knees!
People should be kneeling.
Waiting, waiting, waiting, wai-
Okay, that dude over there did. Now I'm happy.
I really like this background because it's bright and cheerful and reflects a "save the environment" sort of thing. The environment needs saving, people. Gosh.
Whoever likes it, comment.
Whoever doesn't like it, comment.
Whoever has no comment, comment.
Comment.
~That's All I Ask Of You~

P.S. That's a wicked sweet Phantom song, and if I was talking to someone I would burst into the song right now.
P.P.S. *SAY YOU'LL SHARE WITH ME ONE LOVE, ONE LIFETIME. SAY THE WORD AND I WIL FOLLOW YOU...da-da-da-da SAY YOU LOVE ME EVERY WAKING MOMENT SAY YOU LOVE ME YOU KNOW I DO...LOVE ME, THAT'S ALL I ASK OF YOU*
P.P.P.S. Sorry. Couldn't restrain myself.

Blogger Templates

I've got a question, all you bloggerinos with no lives. How do you get new templates???? Short of fiddlin around with code, I mean. What do I look like, a person with a brain????
A
Cuz I have tried more than thirty-seven times to either a) download the template, then upload it and getting a bunch of crap in the HTML box and b) get the code, copy and paste into the HTML box. Neither worked!!

You dudes all have slick blogs! SHOW ME! I AM DYING OF BLOG LAMENESS!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boredom

Yah, you heard me. I'm bored. This may seem a tad pathetic, since Wednesday is the only day I don't have something up after school. Monday/ Ballet class. Tuesday/Volleyball and ballet exam.
Wednesday/NOTHING. Thursday/Deliver papers and volleyball. Friday/ Tap, jazz, and tap exam.

Yup. I really wanna make cookies right now, cuz oatmeal cookie dough sounds good if you forget about salmonella-inducing raw eggs. It may seem weird, cuz last week I made oatmeal choco-chip cookies, last weekend I made plain choco-chip cookies, and here I am craving oatmeal chocolate chips. Again.

Ya'll know what? I think I will. (Maybe the Spirits of Ailment are lactose-intollerant!) Plus there's no wrong time for a hearty homebaked cookie!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, drat, I'll have to do the dishes. Maybe I can scarf up a deal with my bro. :)

Injury

Energy Status: full enough, could be better
Hair Status: Crunchy from the mousse I use
Vision Status: Contacts. Vision -3.75 in left eye and -4.75 in my right
Right Knee Status: KILLING ME!!!

AAAAAAAUUURGH! My knee is freakin on fi-wuh! (FYI, that's how my lil bro said fire when he was little.) I really don't wanna miss my volleyball game tomorrow, and I have three dance classes on Friday! Jeezum! Why don't the Spirits of Ailment pick on someone else's joints?

Autumn

Dozens of flowers push and crowd
The sky holds but one fleecy cloud.
The sun beams down its stifling heat
Children run in tanned, bare feet.
The Earth then shifts, disturbing the peace
The languid days then have to cease
The golden wafts of summer breeze
The lush jade of the poplar leaves
Sweep to a crisp, autumn chill
Shed to gold against their will
The sweet scent of the wild rose
Is swept away to decompose
The springy green of summer grass
Is brittle brown, its’ heyday passed
The softness of the clear blue sky
Is dulled and darkened; clouds pass by
The trees, dripping red and gold
Are stately, gorgeous, high and bold
The crunch of fallen leaves below
Were green not many months ago
Scurrying of squirrels and rabbits
Go to sleep from winter habit
Summer’s pass is not depressing
For autumn months are such a blessing.

Partay

My parents are having a party tonight, with, like, thirty people coming. So all day today was clean, clean, cook, and clean. Actually, mom and I were the only chefs. I love cooking, or, in this case, whipping lemon jello mix and whipped cream till my arms fell off. Practically true.
So, my three younger sibs are going to Auntie's house. The boys will play PS2 and Kloey will watch TLC with Auntie. They'll eat junk all night. Sweet.
I promised Mr. and Mrs. Tan I would hang out in the basement and look after Olivia, their cute little one-year-old daughter. But once she falls asleep I'll join the TLC/PS2/junk food frenzy.
So, the house is as fresh as Lady Speedstick, the food is sitting under damp paper towels to stay fresh, and the rain just stopped! PARTAY TIME!!!

(actually, all adults do is gossip and drink beer. Olivia and I will partay in the basement of exile.)
